# Organizations

An Organization is a collective of owners of the network that is focused on an explicit mission to provide value to the Fuckery Protocol.

Each Organization's mission statement details its purpose and place to provide value in the network.

Any network participant with an MFER iD and $MFER can join an Organization.

You can only switch Organizations every two weeks using the on-chain tracking and MFER Dapp.

There is no maximum number of participants in an Organization. It's expected of the collective to self-balance where and when necessary.

Participants also set their Focus as ART, TECH, or DEGEN on-chain to designate their specialty on the network and provide further clarity on the makeup of the Organization.

There are existing Organizations consisting of Growth, Foundation, and Governance.

#### Growth Organization

* Contributing to the value creation flywheel that backs the network
* Developing new Organizations to create permanently or temporarily
* Managing the onboarding process of Mfers new to the protocol

#### Foundation Organization

* Developing and expanding the codebase for the MFER Dapp
* Ownership of the smart contracts that control $MFER
* Manages the MFER iD identities
* Creating internal and external tooling for Governance or the protocol itself
* Expands the technical capabilities for the entire protocol

#### Governance Organization

* Produce a summary report of the Fuckery Protocol each quarter
* Manage the Proposal process end-to-end
* Manage the Governance Options execution and control mechanisms
* Recommend changes to the Governance itself
* Create documentation for the management of the entire Fuckery Protocol
* Empower the rest of the Organizations with self-management tactics (ex: wallets)
* Covering legal and financial grounds for collective
* Operate and maintain the Stake Pool in a decentralized manner
* Managing the $ADA to stablecoin transfers, paying off DAO debt
* Paying for the operating expenses and DAO costs

Each Organization maintains 3 Leaders elected by the Organization participants each quarter. The Leaders serve for two quarters. After two quarters, the positions are up for renewal. Leaders can run any number of subsequent terms within any Organization.

Leaders are instated and renewed via the Governance Proposal process, where it's open for discussion and ultimately concludes in an on-chain vote.

The job of the Leader is to serve as the organizational backbone and ensure that things move smoothly and efficiently. The lead will likely dedicate a significant amount of time to the program and, therefore, is compensated with $ADA each quarter via the Treasury.

To be eligible to become a Leader, you must have "proof-of-trust" established that can be verified on-chain using the MFER iD. Various mechanisms involve building trust in the network, including delegating your $MFER to other network participants each cycle.

Once elected, Organization Leaders are indicated on-chain in the MFER iD and integrated into the lore of our inflationary journey.

Expected to serve the interests of their respective Organizations and the Mfer DAO as a whole, Leaders have elevated privileges in the Governance process.

The Organization Leaders collectively control the multi-sig wallets that hold the Treasury funds for allocation.

Future Organizations can be created using the Proposals process. Future Organizations can be locked-in or be temporary as long as they have clear and measurable criteria on when they should disband during their inception. The proposal for new Organizations must include the Mission Statement, Problem/Solution, Responsibilities, and the initial 3 Leaders.

## AFTER INITIAL REVIEW

* [ ] Add exact procedures for Organizations to elect 3 Leaders each Quarter
* [ ] Add details of building "proof-of-trust" associated with MFER iD
* [ ] Add the pay parameters for the Leaders out of the quarterly Treasury budget spend
